The Daily Nation is an English-language independent newspaper in Kenya. It is the most sold daily in the country with a circulation of around 1,700,000 copies. It was launched in 1958 as a Swahili weekly called Taifa. It was bought in 1959 by the Aga Khan and started printing in English from 1960.
