UAE Government Media Office at Cannes

UAE has made waves at Cannes and many talents from Dubai came as jurors to represent the country as the land of ideas and opportunities. Their achievements across various categories underscore their commitment to excellence and innovation, especially with the UAE Government Media Office’s global ad campaign, “Bring Your Impossible.”

This initiative, showcased through prominent billboards at Cannes, emphasizes the UAE as a place where ambitious ideas can be realized. The campaign resonated well with the creative community, instilling pride and admiration. Key UAE figures, including Mr. Khaled AlShehhi, Executive Director Marketing Communications at UAE Government, played prominent roles as speakers and judges, highlighting the nation’s consistent presence and success at the festival.

Adobe and TikTok partner to streamline content creation

Adobe and TikTok have announced an exclusive integration that will make TikTok’s Commercial Music Library accessible within Adobe Express via the Symphony Assistant add-on. This collaboration aims to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of content creation on the popular social media platform, particularly for brands and businesses that rely on TikTok for marketing purposes.

TF1 Pub and Freewheel

TF1 Pub and Freewheel expand their collaboration. While TF1+ currently uses FreeWheel’s ad management platform, the Comcast group subsidiary will “deploy for TF1 PUB a new technological suite of integrated tools enabling it to optimize the management of its monetization in the new complex and fragmented streaming environments,” according to an announcement made on the first day of the festival by TF1 PUB and FreeWheel.

Omnicom

Omnicom Media Group agencies have taken both the first and the second spots this year. OMD Worldwide takes the top position while PHD Worldwide claims second. OMD won the honour for the third time in the last seven years, the most recent one being in 2022 and before that in 2017.

OMD MENA has also been named as the Media Network of the Year, a significant achievement for the group’s Middle-Eastern counterpart.

Saudia Wins 2 Awards with Leo Burnett and Saatchi & Saatchi

Leo Burnett Saudi Arabia and Saatchi & Saatchi Dubai, in collaboration with their client Saudia, received the Gold Lion in the Brand Experience & Activation category and the Bronze Lion in the Brand Awareness & Education category for their pioneering product, the “ProtecTasbih”.

ProtecTasbih are the first prayer beads that sanitize hands and are given out to Saudi visitors as they make their way to Makkah, the holy city, on their way to pilgrimage.
